Through The Ages International Agreement

Through the Ages is a civilization game. The goal is to develop your civilization, not to destroy others. Military force is only one aspect of your nation, as is population, production or science. It`s up to you to know what aspect you`ll focus on more or less, but you shouldn`t underestimate any of them as you build your civilization. Victory is achieved by the player whose nation produces the most culture during the game. However, there are many ways to produce culture: through religion, literature or drama, through the construction of miracles, through the use of cultural people, etc. A considerable degree of culture can even be won by wars or aggressions. It is about building a civilization, including urban buildings, governments, populations, resource productions, military, etc. By drawing and buying cards, players guide their civilizations through 4 ages – starting with classical antiquity and ending in modern times. These intrepid personalities bring new mechanics and strategies to the table and make you choose a leader who fits your own plans and style of play.
